Upcycled cream 90s Polo Chino dress pant with four “CONTRAPTIONS” prints.
This design was hand drawn, scanned, edited, and printed using plastisol ink in Pittsburgh, PA. In order to print such a large design, I had to open the pant at the inseam, print, and close the pant again. I then top stitched the inseam to provide additional strength.
Each print is unique. Textures and inconsistencies highlight the pre-existing wear and/or human-touch that each piece now showcases.
